Our Shared History
An inclusive movement half a century in the making
Through determination, guidance and much effort, the Bonnyville Canadian Native Friendship Centre was incorporated under the societies Act on January 30, 1975, and held their first Annual General Meeting on May 15, 1976.
Since it’s beginning, the Bonnyville Friendship Centre (BFC) has continually offered programs and services that assist people in the community and encourage and support them in their daily life. This promotes equal access and participation in Canadian society while respecting our cultural diversity.
The Bonnyville Friendship Centre is committed to communication and cooperation among all Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal people; federal, provincial and municipal government agencies; local business and organizations.
